Door hanger marketing is a direct, simple, and effective way to pinpoint your audience and get results for only pennies per person. Door hangers are a great way to reach residential customers in close proximity to your business, as well as hotels and office buildings anywhere your target customers are close together.
Not only do door hangers typically stand alone without competition, they must be physically removed from the doorknob, making them more likely to be read and make an impression that lasts beyond a brief glance.Here are a few ways to get the most bang for your buck when advertising with door hangers:
·Track the success of your campaign with a perforated tear-off to provide a coupon, business card, discount scratch off, or other handy tips that can easily be stored in a wallet or redeemed to help track responses.
·Take advantage of both sides of your door hanger. This one-two punch allows you to grab attention on the front with striking imagery and headlines, and provide details of your offer on the back.
·Create name recognition. Even if customers are not interested in what you are selling today, they will still be exposed to your company name, web site and phone number, and may keep you in mind for tomorrow. Distribute door hangers with an affixed magnet to encourage recipients to keep the door hanger longer.
·Target a specific market. For example, if you are promoting lawn care services, you can deliver your message to single family homes versus apartment complexes.
